Nous nous rendons au bureau des permis de trekking \u00e0 Mendoza (permis non inclus). De l\u00e0, nous voyageons environ 3 heures jusqu'\u00e0 notre h\u00f4tel confortable \u00e0 Penitentes. Le reste de la journ\u00e9e est libre pour se d\u00e9tendre ou explorer. Ce soir, nous rencontrons le chef et les autres membres de l'exp\u00e9dition pour le d\u00eener, o\u00f9 nous pouvons go\u00fbter \u00e0 la cuisine argentine traditionnelle, D. Trekking Aconcaguae l'\u00e9quipement est charg\u00e9 sur les mules pour le voyage jusqu'au camp de Confluencia. Nous disons au revoir au transport motoris\u00e9 et partons en randonn\u00e9e, une randonn\u00e9e de 2,5 \u00e0 3,5 heures jusqu'\u00e0 notre premier camp \u00e0 Confluencia 3320m o\u00f9 les rivi\u00e8res Horcones et Lower Horcones se rencontrent. Nous passons notre premi\u00e8re nuit en camping, en randonn\u00e9e Aconcagua. Notre randonn\u00e9e durera environ 7 \u00e0 8 heures et nous suivrons le glacier Horcones. \u00c0 mesure que nous montons, la vall\u00e9e s'\u00e9largit et les derniers vestiges de v\u00e9g\u00e9tation disparaissent. Pendant cette randonn\u00e9e, nous avons des vues spectaculaires de la face sud de l'Aconcagua qui se dresse au-dessus de nous et o\u00f9 nous pouvons prendre des photos. Retour au camp de Confluencia, \u00e0 3320 m d'altitude.
